Amazfit has come with a new watch in the Bip range. As we know that the Bip series has been the company’s budget offering. The Amazfit Bip 6 is different as it does not seem typical to that series going by its feature list and nor is it priced like one as one has to pay a premium for it.

Everyone has heard of Apple, Samsung and Google, but not many know of Amazfit. This Chinese company has been making some very noteworthy smartwatches over the years. The watch is a very affordable model priced at $79.99, much lesser than other smartwatch companies. Amazfit Bip 6 is a simple but elegant design, good build quality and comfortable to wear.
Amazfit Bip 6 review
First impression, the Amazfit Bip 6 looks a lot like the Apple Watch, with a square screen, curved corners and a grid of app icons and that’s really impressive given the device costing a fraction of the Apple smartwatch.
The Amazfit 6 Bip features a new OLED screen giving it vibrant colours and deep contrast. The 1.97-inch screen is easy to read in the sunlight and can display lots of data at once.
There’s no crown just two side buttons and a touchscreen.
It also tracks heart rate, blood-oxygen levels and sleep quality. GPS is built in, along with support for 140 activities. This includes swimming, thanks to its five ATM water resistance.
Amazfit Bip 6 specs
Let’s look into the feature packed Amazfit Bip 6.
Amazfit design
Though, having a basic design, the watch’s build quality and finish make it feel premium. So much so that the Amazfit Bip 6 can easily pass as a more premium GTS series watch from the company. The brushed aluminium frame looks elegant with just a hint of shine where it meets the screen, adding to the aesthetics. The display blends seamlessly into the frame with no rough edges to deal with.
Amazing battery life
Most impressively, while rival smartwatches often last less than a day, Amazfit claims the Bip 6 can go up to 14 days between charges. That’s a serious selling point.
The Amazfit Bip 6 has an impressive battery backup given the amount of tracking it does. The company claims a battery life of 14 days for typical usage and up to 6 days under heavy load. Your mileage will obviously vary depending on your usage pattern and the features you turn on. Since I got the chance to test this watch for almost a month, I indulged in various usage patterns to test its battery life.
Amazfit Bip 6 comfort level
Even with an aluminium frame, the watch is quite light, weighing less than 30 grams without straps, and comfortable to wear for long hours. The silicone straps don’t cause sweating or skin irritation. There is of course a provision of replacing the silicone strap with any third party 22 mm alternatives.
The Amazfit Bip 6 is available in four colors Stone, Red, Charcoal, and Black.
Amazfit Bip 6 display
The Amazfit Bip 6 now gets a vibrant 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels. The 302 ppi pixel density display is sharp enough to read content on. It boasts of 2000 nits peak brightness. The display has a layer of tempered glass as well as oleophobic coating.
The watch comes bundled with a handful of watch faces and you get access to a lot more through the Zepp app that you need to install and sync this watch with before using it.
Bip 6 heath parameters
The Bip 6 has a bunch of sensors that can monitor various health parameters like heart rate, blood oxygen, stress levels and sleep, and most of them round the clock if you choose to.

It also is very good with sleep tracking.
This watch claims to track 140+ different workouts that include your usual indoor and outdoor walking, running, cycling, swimming, strength training and their variations along with a bunch of sports like football, cricket, table tennis etc. One can even choose something as specific as a treadmill workout or jump rope.

The Amazfit Bip 6 has a built-in GPS module that is compliant with 5 satellite positioning systems to track outdoor activities.
This Amazfit watch is 5ATM water resistant and can be worn for a swim without a worry.
Bluetooth calling support
Like most watches these days, the Amazfit Bip 6 also supports Bluetooth calling function. But it’s best to stick to your phone or Bluetooth earphones for calling. It will also prolong the watch’s battery life.
Amazfit deserves credit for making the Bip 6 works with both iPhone and Android handsets. The Apple Watch Series 10, Google Pixel Watch 3 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 only work with one or the other.
Is Amazfit Bip 6 worth buying?
The Amazfit Bip 6 is a strong buy if you want a budget-friendly smartwatch that offers impressive value with its bright AMOLED display, reliable health and fitness tracking, built-in GPS, water resistance, and excellent battery life. That said, it lacks premium features like contactless payments, advanced app integrations, and highly polished software, and its accuracy isn’t quite at the level of high-end models from Apple, Samsung, or Garmin. If you’re after a capable all-rounder without spending hundreds, the Amazfit Bip 6 is definitely worth considering.
