From UI Upgrades to New Content, the Infinity Nikki 1.1 Update Has It All

When some events begin, others come to an end. With the Infinity Nikki 1.1 update, the limited-time resonance event “Croaker’s Whisper” and “Bubbling Affection” have run their course and concluded already. Other ongoing events like “Wishfield Journal” and “Your Companion’s Day Invitation!” have also ended, with the Timeless Echo, Unseen Entity, and Wool Fruit Siesta outfits leaving the store. Thankfully, these are the only announcements on things that are going away.

We can now focus on the Shooting Star Season patch notes that truly matter.

Events Unlocked with the New Version Update

With the latest update, there are a couple of interesting events to look forward to, and many of them bring access to new outfits for stylists. The “Star-Kissed Wishes” event opens up access to new activities that will allow players to win diamonds and the “Memory’s Stardust” earrings sketch.

There’s also the “Into a Starry Night” event that allows players to collect Starlight Shards to exchange for the free 3-star outfit “Path of Starlight,” and the “Let’s Touch Shooting Stars!” event for card backgrounds, diamonds, and more.

The most interesting one is the limited-time resonance event “Celestial Wishes,” which unlocks a 5-star and 4-star outfit. Wearing the full set of the “Wings of Wishes” 5-star outfit will allow the character to experience a wind-like floating experience. On the other hand, wearing the “Starfall Radiance” 4-star outfit and using the praying hand pose will cause shooting stars to color the skies. On reaching 160 resonance attempts, the Uncaged Wishes decoration can be claimed and placed in open areas for some added style.

The “Adventure Under the Stars,” and “Take the Bait, Pink Ribbon Eel” events both involve completing world quests and random quests for the only exclusive rewards. If this isn’t enough, logging in regularly for 7 days during the event can bring home additional rewards like revelation crystals.

The Adventure Continues with New Quests and Journeys

Now events are fun of course, but the Shooting Star Season of Infinity Nikki comes with some opportunity for quest progression as well. The Interlude Chapter “Call of Beginning” is now available, which can help you unlock the sketch for the 5-star Miracle Outfit Silvergale’s Aria for free. Completing the world quest “Fifteen Years, echoes of Wishes” will help with acquiring the Wishful Aruosa makeup.

The next phase of Mira Journey—essentially the game’s battle pass—can also be accessed now, where journey tasks can be completed for a slew of rewards. Purchasing the “Distant Anthem” and Miracle Epic” will result in even better returns. Players will be able to choose between two Momo’s Cloaks during this phase—Roar and Nightfall.

Infinity Nikki also has new outfit updates in the store, with the opportunity to purchase the “Gleaming Dance,” “Snowy Encounter,” and “Star of the Gala” outfits. There’s definitely a lot of costume changes to look forward to.

Optimizations and In-Game Improvements for a Better Experience Overall

The central focus of the 1.1 version update is the optimization and improvement of the interface and gameplay to assist with a smoother in-game experience. In terms of gameplay, players who have a hard time clearing stages in the dungeons will be able to use the Assisted Path mechanism to clear the stage more easily.

Similarly, the Real of the Dark, the Realm of Eureka, and the Realm of Breakthrough, now have a quick challenge segment that they can unlock by clearing the respective realm at least once. The reward-claiming ability in the realm challenges has also been updated so when you infuse the maximum amount of Vital Energy, the system will automatically calculate the appropriate number of attempts. New Grand Crane landing spots have been added to the Dream Warehouse Dungeon and the music playback mechanism for the original warehouse stage has been adjusted.

The large majority of updates focus on the UI of the Momo’s camera and wardrobe and the interface across the game.

  • The Styling Challenges score settlement mechanism has been improved and the Makeup Display is also more efficient, no longer altering the makeup or tone with changing outfits
  • In-game photography has been improved and the Esselings’ HP bars will no longer be visible in photos
  • Mobile players should benefit from the enhanced display of specific scenes and the overall adjusted size of certain icons and interactive areas
  • A sleep mode is also available for mobile devices, designed to put the screen to sleep and conserve power when inactive. The default joystick mode for mobile devices has also been improved.
  • Players can also track their world quests one at a time on the Map and main screen now
  • New settings give players greater control over how icon names are displayed and elements in the Resonance interface have also been enhanced
  • The tab sorting in the store is much better now
  • The actions and effects during the violin performances on using the Violinist’s ability are now more refined with a new button to capture a screenshot

With less than a month since the game’s release, these Shooting Star Season patch notes show that the developers are determined to create an engaging and immersive experience for players and give them the most perfectly cozy gaming world to submerge themselves in.

The “Wings of Wishes” outfit may be the central star of the Infinity Nikki 1.1 update, but even without this, there’s more than enough content to experience and explore. If you haven’t tried out the game yet, now may be the perfect time to give it a shot.
