Sorry folks, there’s still no update on the Analogue 3D console. As far as we know, it is still on track for its July release, but Analogue’s silence on the matter is making fans extremely nervous. Designed to operate Nintendo 64 games, the Analogue 4K console was initially expected to release in Q1 2025, but after gamers began hounding the company for an update, it finally revealed that the console would be delayed to July.
Now that we’re weeks away from July, gamers have been hoping for some proof that the console is actually on its way through pictures or gameplay footage, but Analogue has evidently been ignoring all the queries, instead posting clips of other revamped games on its social media. We’re hoping the 4K N64 console still releases in July, but it would be great to see Analogue take the lead and release some information about the hardware.

No Analogue 3D Update Yet—Should We Expect Another Delay?
The Analogue 4K console’s 2025 delay has already been a matter of great annoyance for fans, particularly those who have placed their pre-orders and want their money’s worth from the console. The 3D pre-order page on the Analogue website currently says that the console is out of stock, and the FAQ page provides a longer explanation of what to expect for those who have already placed their orders.
“Analogue 3D was originally available for preorder at the end of 2024, scheduled to ship Q1 2025,” the page states, and as of March 18, 2025, shipping was delayed to July 2025. The page doesn’t have a specific date listed, but it mentions that before the order is shipped, an email will be sent out to confirm the shipping address. Those who decide they want to cancel their orders can do so anytime before shipment and receive a full refund. As of now, there has been no contact from Analogue, but it’s possible that the emails will start going out in July and not a day sooner.

No Promotional Content Available to Put Fears of Another Analogue 3D Delay to Rest
It makes sense that the Analogue would wait until the 3D pre-ordered shipping stock is ready to begin contacting customers, but the lack of promotional material online is making gamers uneasy. When the 4K N64 console’s release was first announced, Analogue used some sophisticated marketing materials to showcase the device and make the purchase as appealing as possible. The high-quality images and poetic descriptions were enough to get its audience excited, but Analogue has since stopped promoting the console entirely.
One reason could be that pre-orders are currently closed and the company doesn’t want to draw the attention of new fans until they are ready to open orders up again, but this isn’t a good enough excuse for fans who want to know what’s going on. Over the last few weeks, most Twitter/X posts by Analogue have featured high-definition gameplay from different titles from the early days of gaming, but each post is accompanied by players asking Analogue for an update.
Where’s the Analogue 3D?

Show us the Analogue 3D in action. We pre-ordered the system ages ago and there’s still zero proof that it even exists.

This is not a Nintendo 64 game. Why aren’t you posting any Nintendo 64 games?
— Jackpot 🎰 (@JacquesPaught) June 12, 2025
None of Analogue’s posts flaunt any Nintendo 64 games, nor do they showcase the console in any shape or form. The last post in relation to the console dates back to March 18, when the Analogue 3D delay was announced. While we’d be happy to keep watching all the other fun footage that the company has uploaded, it’s hard to ignore the fact that there is no Analogue 3D update.
Excitement Around the Analogue 3D Has Not Faded
Although there is no Analogue 3D update yet, gamers are still keeping their minds open and wallets open for when orders for the console open back up. The delay in notifying customers regarding the progress on the N64 console isn’t ideal, but the company still has a history of releasing impressive consoles that have managed to revive a multitude of games from the past.
When the news of the reimagined N64 console first broke, there was excitement regarding its capabilities and specs, and that hasn’t changed. Fans have been using the availability of the compatible 8BitDo N64 controller to track progress on the Analogue 3D, which shows just how much attention gamers are paying to this upcoming console. The hope remains that the Analogue 3D pre-order shipping details will arrive soon and put any lingering concerns to rest, so we’ll update this space if we learn more about the console’s release.
