Every year, the Consumer Electronic Show marks a hope-filled beginning to our year, setting our expectations high for the kind of tech we can expect to see in the months to come. As we walk through the best releases of CES 2025, you’ll see that this year was no different.

While the announcements this year did not generate the kind of unrelenting buzz we saw around products like the Rabbit R1, the Asus ZenScreen Folding screen laptop, and the many curved and transparent TV screens from last year, we still had some noteworthy announcements that are reseeding the landscape of technology. Sitting down to put together our CES 2025 product roundup and recommendations for must-see tech is no easy task, but it’s one we’re going to enjoy nonetheless.

Best of CES 2025—Exploring Products That Are Redefining Innovation

Much of the top tech from CES 2025 came from the bigger, more established players this time, all of whom used the opportunity to set the stage for the evolution of their brand. Competitors AMD and Nvidia both released updates for processors and graphics cards that brought the two popular categories of AI and gaming together, giving us a useful glance into the gadget launches that will occur with this technology built in.

We also had a big moment for Samsung’s home appliances, with their TVs and soundbars making a particularly convincing case for themselves. AI integration in these gadgets has been the obvious focus for manufacturers this year, but for consumers, the overemphasis on artificial intelligence has become a bit annoying. Still, these gadgets mark an admirable step forward for tech as a whole.

The CES 2025 highlights also included the introduction of a new HDMI standard, HDMI 2.2, and this was just as groundbreaking as the product releases. While we’re still months, and perhaps even years, away from the specification becoming commonplace and accessible to everyone, we were still reassured by the knowledge that change is coming.

These exciting trends from CES 2025 don’t give us the full picture of the products that made a debut this time, so let’s recap the best of CES 2025.

The Lenovo Legion Go S Has a Release Locked In

Gaming advancements always set our hearts racing and we love seeing more competition in the handheld gaming PC space. The Lenovo Legion Go was already a marvel, but with the upcoming Lenovo Legion Go S, there is more versatility to look forward to. The console comes with the option of the Z1 Extreme or Z2 Go APUs, and buyers also get to pick between the Windows 11 OS and SteamOS, which has been fascinating.

Consoles traditionally pick a lane and stick to it, but with the Legion Go S, gamers have the opportunity to customize the gaming experience more to suit what works best for them. WIth the next-gen Legion Go (8.8″, 2) also expected to be on the way, we’re fascinated to see how customers respond to this new shift in the nature of handheld gaming.

The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Makes a Case for Itself

While we’re praising Lenovo for its gaming console, we may as well take a moment to acknowledge the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 laptop with its rollable display. Carrying on the tradition of expandable, versatile laptop display options we saw last year, the new Lenovo laptop features new tech for those who need more screen space.

With the touch of a button, the screen expands from a 14-inch to a 16.7-inch display, and while numerically that doesn’t sound as substantial, for an on-to-go laptop, it’s a considerable shift. The Copilot+ PC, with its Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc graphics, “is tailored to meet the diverse needs of mobile professionals, business travelers, and productivity-focused workers who need seamless multitasking capabilities.”

We must also make a special mention of the Thinkpal T100 AI Learning Table, which is a great laptop for kids and their individual learning capabilities, as well as the MSI Cyborg A17, which is a standout alternative for a budget gaming laptop. Lenovo’s new Yoga Book 9i was also among the top tech releases at CES 2025.

Circular Ring 2 AFib detection

Smart Rings Enjoyed Their Time in the Limelight, Particularly the New Circular Ring 2

Among all the must-see tech we saw at CES 2025, the ones that appeared primed for immediate integration into our daily lives were the smart rings. The Circular Ring 2 announced that it was taking health monitoring very seriously with its FDA-cleared Atrial Fibrillation detection algorithm, which was capable of monitoring arrhythmia as part of its ECG capabilities. Such a development put it one step ahead of competitors and made it a noteworthy release.

The Circular Ring 2 also received appreciation for its new digital ring sizing system that eliminated the waste of resources on a physical sizing kit. If such a system becomes more commonplace, we can see a significant reduction of waste in manufacturing and circulating these sizing kits, which can be a big boon overall.

In other smart ring news, those who have heard of or own the Movano Health Evie Ring may also be glad to know that the company announced a new virtual AI assistant for improved health monitoring. The Luna Ring 2 and the VIV Ring also made a debut at CES 2025, and their releases were just as applause-worthy.

Honda 0 Series EV Launch Confirmed

When we think of the CES event, we don’t typically think of the automotive industry, but electric vehicles and futuristic concept cars also make grand entrances at the show every year. This year, we saw the Honda 0 series take a more concrete shape, with two cars in the lineup—the Honda 0 Saloon and the Honda 0 SUV.

These cars were first teased during the CES event last year, but we were able to see a more physical manifestation of Honda’s EV ambitions this time, with the promise of a release in 2026. These cars look phenomenal, and while the angular design and all-digital aesthetic isn’t for everyone, there is an audience waiting for it nonetheless. The EV’s Asimo OS launch has garnered just as much attention as the overall announcement of the car, and we’re excited to see how it will finally take shape.

While we’re talking about EVs, we have to mention the Aptera Solar EV vehicle that caused our jaws to drop. Testing the limits of automotive design, the car is a standout in its category, no matter how impractical it may seem at first—or fifth—glance.

CES 2025 product roundup

Every Home Deserves a Roborock Saros Z70

Closing up our CES 2025 product roundup with a gadget that not everyone might need but everyone deserves to see, we have the Roborock Saros Z70 robot. The legacy of the Electrolux Trilobite is oft-duplicated, but with every iteration, we get closer and closer to having a fully automated house helper to clean our whole home.

The Roborock Saros Z70 is a robotic vacuum with a foldable five-axis mechanical arm. While it sounds extremely unsettling, the robot not only vacuums your home but also moves obstacles out of the way with its handy extension. The arm extends and retracts based on its assessments made using the dual camera setup.

The vacuum first completes a round of cleaning of all the areas it can access and simultaneously detects objects it can lift out of the way. Once complete, it then circles back to areas where moveable objects were detected, lifting them out of the way to clean underneath. The machine is also capable of dropping off smaller objects like socks and paper waste at their designated spots, making it a truly advanced cleaner compared to what we have available today.

Our list of the best of CES 2025 only acknowledges a handful of the many marvels displayed or released during the event. The future of tech may feel clogged with AI terminology, but we still appear to be on the right track in terms of making innovative choices that reiterate what technology is all about.
